Mad Hatters tea party KS1

To finish off this terms topic of Down The Rabbit Hole the KS1 children had a Mad Hatters Tea Party.  They had written invites during their english lessons and made hats as part of the maths lessons.  As part of this weeks thinking challenge the children, with the help of their parents had to prepare and bring into school something to eat.  There was some really imaginative foods, including orange skins with jelly and white chocolate piped on to look like the Cheshire Cats smile, some spiky hedgehogs and lots of other exciting foods. They were very lucky with a beautiful spring day and were able to sit outside and enjoy the party.
