Tag rugby

Term 5
The tag rugby team have been learning to run with the rugby ball and trying to pass it to other team members at the same time - which is proving quite tricky!  They have also been learning how to score a try.

Term 4
The tag rugby players have been concentrating on tagging skills as this is such a major part of the game.  They have been learning how to put the special belts on themselves and attaching the 2 tags that they need.  They have also been practising throwing and catching the rugby balls.

The tag rugby club has had lots more members this term so have spent the first few weeks teaching the new children some of the moves needed to play.  They have also been working on their passing skills and playing different tag games which help improve their passing skills.

Term 1  2015-16

Premier sport has this term introduced a new Tag rugby club on a Monday after school.  Which is proving very popular with the children.  They have been playing tag games and trying to catch the other players tags.  They have also been working on passing skills with the ball and scoring tries using two hands.
