Our school vision statement 'A caring community • courageously learning • inspired to live life to the full' consists of three distinct elements and everything that we aim to do at CCI revolves around them. Our vision has been formulated by the various different stakeholders in our school community and has been written for everyone in our community . We all have an important part to play in living out our vision and values - making sure that they are more than just words on a page or a sign on a wall.
The third element of our school vision is based on the Bible verse in John 10:10, where Jesus says, '...I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest..' We believe that we shouldn't sleepwalk through life, but that we should make the most of every opportunity so that we can become the best version of ourselves and make a positive contribution to the world.
Within each of the three elements, we have identified the key values and aims listed below:
Aim: We want our children, parents, staff and governors to care for each other; to respect and trust each other and to encourage and listen to each other. We want the children to learn how to care for the wider world as responsible, kind and generous individuals putting the needs of others before their own.
Aim: We want our children to be courageous in learning and living, putting our values into practice with passion and commitment. We want them to have the courage to challenge and change the world around them for the better.
Aim: We want to inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instil a life-long love of learning. We want our children to be inspired to be the very best they can be and have a real purpose in making the world a better place.
