Eco Club

Eco club is made up of KS1 pupils who are keen to help make a difference in looking after the world around us. Eco club takes responsibility for encouraging the rest of the school and our families at home to think about ways we can help. One thing Eco club is already doing is getting the whole school to collect soft plastics in their classrooms which the Eco club members then collect to be recycled. We also think about how we can reduce how much paper we use and waste (for example, by drawing on the back of printed sheets that are no longer needed rather than drawing on plain paper all the time). Eco warriors try to make sure their class lights and interactive board are turned off when everyone leaves the classroom. The Eco team made some bug hotels for the playground last year too. The Eco team are always looking for more ways we can look after the world around us.
