Blooming marvellous - Downend in Bloom at CCI

Downend in Bloom very kindly came into school this week to help some of our children to fill the beautiful planters that the volunteer group have donated. Mrs Dickinson then took some of the children to the high street to help the Downend in Bloom team to plant some new plants in the planters there. We feel so proud to have been involved in such a great community project, taking responsibility for the local environment and showing respect to the people and animals who use it. Huge thanks to these wonderful volunteers who taught our children so much and to Mrs Dickinson for organising this.
