  • Sheep visit school

    Wed 25 Apr 2018
We were extremely lucky to have two lambs come and visit us in school today.  They were 4 and 6 week old easy care sheep from Manor Farm called Morris and Martha.  The children were very excited, it's not everyday we get to see sheep out on our school field!  Many thanks to Charlotte Munday and her Dad, the children loved them.
  • Support us with the Bristol 10km

    Wed 18 Apr 2018

Bristol 10k – More fundraising!! Mrs Martin and Mrs Dickinson alongside a fab team of Parents would also like to do their bit to raise money for CCI. Whilst it's no Marathon (hats off to Nik!) we won't be finding the Bristol 10k a breeze! We would like to raise money for much needed resources to update our school. These will include classroom resources, SEN and sensory equipment and if we are really lucky, contributions towards new carpets and tables. We would really appreciate any support that you can give us as we continue to try to make CCI an even better place to learn and play. Thank you so much.

As part of our topic this term of 'From Farm to Fork' we our hatching some chicks.  The eggs and equipment arrived in school on Monday and on Tuesday we could see the eggs moving in the incubator and hear the chicks chirping inside the eggs.  By Wednesday morning the first chick had hatched and by the end of the day it was joined by 2 more.  The children are having the opportunity to visit the eggs/chicks to watch them progress. Check out our facebook page to see a video of one hatching out.  We will keep you updated!  It's really eggciting!!! cheeky
