Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Today we had a visit from Jan at Mission Direct to share with us how life is different for school children at Kumi Primary in Uganda.
We heard how the children often only get one meal per day if they are lucky and that their parents often go without food so that they can eat to be able to focus at school. Often in classes of up to 100 children!
We would really like to help so are setting up a CCI porridge challenge where we try to raise money to buy as many bowls of porridge as we can.
We will hold a ‘break the rule day’ at the end of this term and donate all of the funds raised to help but meals for the school children there.
Thank you so much to our wonderful Friends team and staff for hosting such a lovely Teddy Bears Picnic for our new EYFS families to get to know each other. The rain just about held off and it was lovely to see so many families socialising together.
Our extra curricular clubs have started back with a bang! The children have really enjoyed all of the clubs. The new Tiger martial arts is a big hit and you can see their focus and engagement in these photos. The Children have also had a smashing time at tennis and the Lego club continues to build on its previous success!
