Wonder days and Zoolab
We held our Wonder days on the last two days of term 5 where we were trying to inspire awe and wonder in the children. We did this with different activities during the two days with Experience Church for the year 1 and 2 children, a visit from Zoolab, learning about the important work that bees do and making Elmer the elephant to celebrate how we are all different.
Experience Church was a journey around the Church with 6 different activities. We learnt that the Church welcomes people. There is teaching. We spend time praying or talking to God, we pray for ourselves and for others. We celebrate a special meal in Church called Communion & remember that Jesus died for us. The people in the Church serve others with their actions, and they share their faith with others. Members of the Church and pupils in year 1 & 2, staff & parent helpers shared this journey together. It was a special time of wondering all about the Church for everyone. Thank you Mrs Jenkins for organising us.
