    Thank you to families and staff from both schools for coming along to the art gallery this evening at Christ Church Downend. Special thanks to Ms Connor and Mr Jones for working across both schools to make it possible. Also thank you to the church team for letting us use the amazing church space for our gallery.

    Welcome to Space! The children loved their space experience today... One child even said that it was the best day ever - even better than their holiday! High praise for the Explorer Dome team and a great day for the children of CCI.

    Day 3 of Wonder Week and the children were being artists, creating their own 'Rizzi Birds' inspired by artist James Rizzi. The children practised on paper and whiteboards and when they felt confident, they moved onto using crayons/pastels and watercolours. We hope you come along to the art gallery on Thursday at 3.30pm at the Church to see the children's art displayed.

    The children loved their cricket coaching sessions with Rob Watson from Gloucester Cricket Foundation today, mastering batting and fielding skills very quickly. Thank you Rob, you were fantastic!

    Cheetah Class have been enjoying their new enquiry 'What is home?', learning to follow a map to find pictures to then sort them into categories of the type of animal or whether an object is dead, alive or has never lived.
