• Onesie day for Autism awareness

  On Friday 13th we all wore our onesies or pyjamas to school in support of International Autism awareness day and raised £181!

  

• Living eggs/Christchurch chicks

  We now have 6 chicks hatched and moved into their new home, there are just a couple left to hatch now.  It's looking like 5 boys and 1 girl chick.  We have learnt that the girls are the dark chicks and the boys the pale coloured ones.

  

• Living eggs/Christchurch chicks

  As part of our topic this term of 'From Farm to Fork' we our hatching some chicks.  The eggs and equipment arrived in school on Monday and on Tuesday we could see the eggs moving in the incubator and hear the chicks chirping inside the eggs.  By Wednesday morning the first chick had hatched and by the end of the day it was joined by 2 more.  The children are having the opportunity to visit the eggs/chicks to watch them progress. Check out our facebook page to see a video of one hatching out.  We will keep you updated!  It's really eggciting!!!

  What a great few days we've had taking part in lots of sporting activities and of course the CCI Assault course.  A huge thank you to the local business that sponsored us and for all the amazing donations you have sent in.  All the pictures are now in the Recent events page.

• Fun in the snow

  We managed to get out to play in the snow today for a short time, it was great fun but really cold!

  

• The school will be closed 2/3/18 due to Red Weather Warning

  We will be closed on Friday due to heavy snow and blizzard conditions.  We hope all children have a lovely snow day and we would love to see some fun snow pictures on our facebook and twitter page.
