• Movie Night!

  Movie Night is nearly here! Thank you for the huge response to this event with so many of the children already signed up. If you haven’t signed your child up via Parent Pay and they would like to be part of Movie Night with their friends then please sign them up by the end of this week. The teachers will be voting on the DVDs this week so you should receive another email from them soon letting you know the class’ choice.

• CAKES! Friday 25th June

  The Friends are holding a cake sale in the playground at pick up time to raise money for the new playground.

  We'd really appreciate it if anyone is able to donate individually wrapped cakes for us to sell. Please bring cake donations into school at morning drop off time on the day. Many thanks.

• Uniform Shop

  Uniform can now be ordered from Monkhouse, MyClothing (PE hoodie not available) and Unicorn Workwear. (Links at the bottom)

  Uniform does not have to be branded and in fact PE T-shirts, plain, can be found in lots of supermarkets twin pack for just over £3.00. 

   

  Children will wear PE uniform twice a week.

• School Milk

  The full year cost (Sept – 21st July) is £53.20 or half the year (Sept – 28th Feb) is £29.96. Both payable by 23rd August 21.

• Scarecrow Trail

  We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Jodie Godfrey and her many helpers for organising such a brilliant scarecrow trail for the whole community last weekend.  Thank you to everyone for making such super scarecrows and to the hundreds of you who bought the maps and did the trail in such hot weather.  I’d also like to thank Jackie Poole, who raised £50 in donations for her cacti plants. We are such a well-supported school and feel very privileged to be part of such a wonderful community.

• CCI sporting superstar stories

  Thank you so much to all of the people who have sent me in photos of their children being courageous in sport outside of school and for sharing such success and inspirational stories. 

   

   I have learnt so much about our children and have shared this with the whole school on a display in the hall.  I will also be sharing these stories in an assembly soon.
